Crepey / Saggy Neck
A skin issue that becomes fairly common as skin ages, especially with ladies, is the development of loose skin on the neck.
The type of treatment will be determined at the skin consultation and may involve Jet Plasma, Plaxel Plasma or DMK Paramedical skincare.

Skin Tightening
Skin Tightening for loose, saggy and crepey skin can be treated in a number of ways.
At Skin Revision we primarily only carry out skin tightening on the face, jowls and neck. Possible treatments that can be used would be Plaxel Plasma, Jet Plasma or DMK muscle banding Paramedical skincare.
A local anaesthetic can be applied pre-treatment. Post-treatment, you will find redness on the areas treated. There is minimal downtime, but it is important to take advice from Jacqui and read the post treatment aftercare literature.

Crow's Feet
Crow’s Feet are the smile lines / wrinkles around the outer corners of the eyes.
There are different options to treat Crow’s Feet and these will be explained during a telephone consultation or What’s App message. One options maybe Plaxel Plasma and the others maybe Jet Plasma or DMK.

Acne
An initial phone call and What’s App photographs are necessary before an treatment for Acne or Acne Valgaris can commence.
A consultation will all us to determine the severity of the acne /spots, the skin type, the age of the individual, the possible reason behind the acne / spots.
A consultation will also help us determine the type of Acne treatment best suited to the individual, as well as advising of potential length of a treatment course and the associated expected cost.
It is likely that DMK Paramedical skincare or SQT liquid bio-microneedling will be the options available during the consultation. It is very likely that TriWave LED Light Therapy will be included within any Acne treatment plan.

The anticipated cost for an acne treatment will be clearer during the consultation. A course of treatments will be necessary and the cost may vary slightly during the course, depending on the level and strength of treatment being used. As part of a course of acne treatments, presrcibed and bespoke skincare products must by used in conjunction with the treatment process.
Moles
Moles can be found anywhere on the body and, if proven to be benign by a GP or our Dermatologist, are treatable.
For a large number of Moles a face to face consultation is necessary. If there are few moles then generally a photo on What’s App and a chat or phone call will suffice.
It is only possible to treat a certain amount of Moles in any one appointment. The reason for this is that the body’s immune system will begin to reject the trauma of the skin treatment directed at the mole and the effect of the process will be lost.
At least one further treatment maybe necessary, depending on the size or volume of the moles.
Before any treatment can take place, written proof that the Mole (s) are benign, has to be shown at your appointment.

A singular small flat benign mole will cost approx £95. Larger treatable benign moles will start from £150. Should there be more than one mole the cost will be considerably less than the initial cost. An indication only of costs are given during a face to face consultation or with the help of photographs.
Blackheads
Treatment for Blackheads or similar variations on darker and white skin tones and colour, can be treated using a selection of treatments.
Ideally a face to face consultation should be taken to discuss the nature of the Blackheads and whether there are any other associated skin issues.
Depending on the skin type and requirements a DMK facial or Hydra Facial treatment may be necessary.

Skin Tags
Skin Tags, seen on every part of the face or body, are treatable with either VeinAway heat cauterisation, for the small floppy/loose Tags, or CryoPen for the larger Skin Tags.
Some larger tags are not treatable and surgical excision maybe required following a visit to a GP.
Photographs should be supplied following a conversation with the clinic. This determines whether the Tags are treatable and enables an indicative cost to be given.

Skin tags will vary in size and number. A skin tag that is fairly small will be the cheapest price. Larger tags and a greater number of tags will cost more and be priced on telephone conversation.
Warts
A face to face consultation for one or more Warts is not necessary, following a phone call / email and a photograph showing the Wart. following.
Wartare treatable with CryoPen cryotherapy or Plaxel Plasma.
It is recommended to use Wartner before and after the treatment. It is not uncommon for 2 or even three treatments to be performed, especially for older and larger Warts.
There is minimal discomfort during the treatment as it is only the Wart that is directly touched.

Verruca
A consultation of one or more Verrucas are not necessary. Verrucas are commonly found on the base of the feet and treatable with CryoPen cryotherapy. The nitrous oxide creates a jet of freezing spray onto the lesion, killing off the skin cells within the lesion.
It is recommended to buff the verruca before an appointment and use Wartner before and after the treatment. It is not uncommon for 2 or even three treatments to be performed, especially for older and larger verrucas.

Milia
Milia are the small white bumps that can appear around the eyes in particular. A consultation is not required.
The treatment is performed using VeinAway. VeinAway thermocoagulation is a heat cauterisation process which quickly and effectively destroys the Milia with minimal discomfort or pain.

Blood Spots / Cherry Angioma
Blood Spots or Cherry Angioma or Cambell de Morgan vessels can be treated without a consultation.
VeinAway thermocoagulation would be the process used. It is a heat cauterisation treatment with minimal discomfort or pain.

Seborrheic Keratosis
A consultation over the phone with the aid of photographs is required for the skin lesion Seborrheic Keratosis. The cost of treatment will vary on the size and number of skin lesions, and some lesions may be determined as not suitable to be treated successfully by Skin Revision.
Depending on the evaluation of the Seborrheic Keratosis, either CryoPen or Plaxel Plasma spray will be used for treatment.

Xanthelasma
Xanthelasma is commonly found particularly around the eyes and upper eyelids. It is also very common on more mature ladies and gentlement of Indian background.
A consultation over the phone with the aid of photographs is required for the skin lesion Xanthelasma. Some lesions are determined as not treatable non-surgically by Skin Revision.
Depending on the evaluation of the Xanthelasma , either CryoPen or Plaxel Plasma will be used for treatment.

Thread Veins
Facial Thread Veins / Spider Veins are treatable using VeinAway. The treatment is a form of heat cauterisation, and uses a process of thermocoagulation to nullify the blood supply feeding the small red veins on the surface of the skin. Common areas for thread veins are the chin, the nose and the cheeks.
It is likely that a second or third treatment may be necessary if there are a large number of Thread Veins.
Treatments can only last a maximum of 15 minutes for two reasons. A) the body will start rejecting the treatment after a period of time and B) there is a little discomfort during treatment.
It is not possible to treat veins on any other area of the body, except the face.

Pigmentation
Pigmentation is primarily caused by exposure to the sun’s UV rays.
Pigmentation can appear on all skin tones and colours including black, Indian, Asian, white or brown and may show all over the body.
A photo or telephone conversation / consultation is all that is generally needed to allow the necessary Pigmentation treatment to be booked.
Treatment types for Pigmentation will vary depending on the colour of the skin and the type of Pigmentation. It maybe determined that one or a combination of these treatments may be offered : DMK Paramedical skincare, or skin peels, chemical peels, SQT bio-microneedling, Tri Wave LED light therapy, CryoPen, Cosmelan or Jet Plasma.

Sun Damage
Sun Damage is a very generic term for a number of skin conditions and skin concerns. It may show itself as wrinkles. crepey loose skin, ageing skin, thread veins, rosacea, pigmentation, hypopigmentation, sun spots, seborrheic keratotis, blood spots and much more.
Depending on the skin condition or skin concern brought to us during a telephone or email enquiry, will determine on the treatment or treatment plan offered out.
All sun damaged skin is treatment to a certain extent but the length of time to resolved the skin with sun damage, will vary depending on the skin condition and the severity of the skin problem

Age Spots
Age spots are primarily caused by Sun Damage and appear on most areas that are generally exposed to the sun.
The treatment for Age Spots / Brown Spots / Liver Spots is generally either CryoPen cryotherapy or Plasma. One treatment is generally suffice but if there are a larger number of Age Spots then a second session of treatments will be advised.

Large Pores
Following a phone call consultation, the normal treatments for Large Pores is generally DMK Paramedical skincare.
The bespoke DMK skincare treatment is designed to visibly reduce pores without stripping the skin of natural oils or causing an increase in oil production. The solution helps to clear the pores and allows them to refine naturally. This minimises the appearance of open pores.

or flushing of the skin. A course is normal.
