Enquire NowWhat is the benefit of a Skin Consultation?
- Personalised assessment: I have been working in the aesthetics industry since 2005 and as well as being qualified in all that I treat, I was trained by Dr Danne Montegue King in California (DMK). During a consultation, I have the opportunity to assess your skin type, skin condition, and understand your specific hopes and needs. With the correct infomation, I am able to put a treatment plan in place to give you the optimal results that you had hoped for.
- Understanding your Skin: During the skin consultation, I would use the opportunity to educate you about your skin, and explain what we can see on the surface and into the dermis. I will discuss factors that may be contributing to the skin issues, and inform you of ways to help keep your skin healthy in the long-term.
- Comprehensive treatment plan: After a thorough holistic assessment of your skin, I will be able to create a detailed treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
- Addressing underlying issues: Many skin conditions have underlying causes that need to be addressed for long-lasting results. By uncovering the root causes of your skin issues during a consultation, I can recommend lifestyle changes or additional treatments that target those underlying issues.
5. Managing expectations: A skin consultation provides an opportunity to manage your skin treatment expectations. During the consultation, I will discuss the realistic outcomes and the timelines to success. This will ensure a clear understanding of your skin journey. This transparency helps to avoid disappointment and helps build a trusting relationship between you and Skin Revision.
6. Customised skincare regime: In addition to your skin treatment or skin treatment course, a skin consultation also allows me to assess your current skincare routine. It is vital that the products that you are using at home are not harming your skin and that they are actually benefitting your skin. I will be able to provide guidance on whether your homecare products are suitable for your skin as well as advising on best skincare practices. A customized skincare regime that works alongside in-clinic skin treatments, can help you gain and maintain the very best results and promote overall skin health.
7. Monitoring progress: During your course of treatments, minor skin consultations always take place. This allows me to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. Skin conditions may change over time, and what worked initially may need to be modified for ongoing improvement.
