Skin Consultation Beaconsfield with Jacqui Bannister

Skin Consultation – Beaconsfield

For many treatments that are performed at our Skin Clinic, it is often necessary to carry out a face to face, skin consultation with me, Jacqui Bannister (see photo). Even though our skin treatments are non-surgical, cosmetic and non-invasive, for the very best understanding of your skin, a skin analysis and consultation are often important.

Am I qualified to look after your skin?

I am an approved Paramedical Skin Revisionist DMK MD and one of only 6 in the UK. I have been treating ageing skin and skin issues since 2005.

I am lucky enough to win industry awards on a yearly basis and like to feel I am trusted and respected by my peers and clients over the many years that I have been working in the industry. During your skin consultation with me, I will make sure that the correct assessment of your skin is made and that the correct treatment or treatment plans, are explained to you fully.

Whether you’re seeking to renew ageing skin or treat specific skin conditions such as acne, acne scaring, rosacea, pigmentation, skin tags, or thread veins, some form of long (paid for) or shorter (free on phone) skin consultation is necessary.

A skin consultation with myself gives you a personalised assessment, and a greater understanding of your skin by creating a comprehensive treatment plan and addressing any underlying skin issues.

What is the benefit of a Skin Consultation?

The consultation will help manage expectations and offers a customised skincare regime, as well as allowing me to monitor your skin journey by phone or text over the months following your treatments.

A skin consultation sets the foundation for successful skincare outcomes.

  1. Personalised assessment: I have been working in the aesthetics industry since 2005 and as well as being qualified in all that I treat, I was trained by Dr Danne Montegue King in California (DMK). During a consultation, I have the opportunity to assess your skin type, skin condition, and understand your specific hopes and needs. With the correct infomation, I am able to put a treatment plan in place to give you the optimal results that you had hoped for.
  2. Understanding your Skin and Skin Concerns: I would educate you about your skin, and explain what we can see on the surface and into the dermis. I will discuss factors that may be contributing to the skin issues, and inform you of ways to help keep your skin healthy in the long-term.
  3. Comprehensive treatment plan: After a thorough holistic assessment of your skin, I will be able to create a detailed treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
  4. Addressing underlying issues: Many skin conditions have underlying causes that need to be addressed for long-lasting results. By uncovering the root causes of your skin issues during a consultation, I can recommend lifestyle changes or additional treatments that target those underlying issues.

5 Managing expectations: A skin consultation provides an opportunity to manage your skin treatment expectations. This transparency helps to avoid disappointment and helps build a trusting relationship between you and Skin Revision.

6 Customised skincare regime: In addition to your skin treatment or skin treatment course, a skin consultation also allows me to assess your current skincare routine. It is vital that the products that you are using at home are not harming your skin and that they are actually benefitting your skin. I will be able to provide guidance on whether your homecare products are suitable for your skin as well as advising on best skincare practices.
